Wellness Center

The Wellness Center as well as the Mind & Body Studio offers the latest in fitness equipment, group exercise classes, and much more. We offer a variety of strength and cardiovascular machines that all overlook the serene pool and golf course. Whether it’s working on building strength, feeling the warmth of the sun in our water aerobics classes, or working on breathing techniques in our yoga classes, we have something perfectly suited for you.

Wellness Programs

Whether you are new to fitness or you have been exercising for a long time, our programs are designed with the individual’s goal in mind. Emphasis is placed on letting the clients take control and work at their own pace. The non-intimidating atmosphere helps clients to focus on their routine. Our educated and dedicated staff offers complimentary orientations to assess your current fitness level, establish goals, and ensure a safe and effective exercise routine. Personal training is also available for those looking to have that extra push or one-on-one time with the supervision of a trainer.

Mind and Body Studio 


Please remember that indoor Fitness classes are not open for Member Guests or House Guests. Aqua Classes are open for member's registered house guest. We allow 1 registered house guest per aqua class. Please notify Ichell Davis 1-day prior that you have a registered house guest attending a Aqua Class.

We are allowing registered house guests in the Gym & Fitness Center everyday beginning at 12 pm. Please have your guest complete a Fitness Waiver and obtain a house guest pass from the front desk for access to the fitness center. Also, please make sure your guests have reviewed the fitness center Guest Policy should they use the Gym.  To avoid possible membership suspension please do not hand out your membership card to guests or family members. 

Class schedules and Class Descriptions 

Currently, we are offering Pool/Water and Indoor Fitness classes. 

Indoor Group Exercise Class Descriptions

*Low Intensity      **Medium Intensity       ***High Intensity        !!Suitable for all levels

 

Roll & Stretch- (**) - Mat based, deep tissue stretching & release focused on range of motion and movement. Members must be comfortable getting down and up from the mat.

Just Stretch- (**) - Mat based stretching based off the principles of restorative yoga using different yoga props to promote deep stretching and tension release.

Stand/Stretch/Balance- (**) – this class features a mix of different exercise combinations to support members who are seeking to improve balance, mobility, and flexibility. Members must be comfortable standing with and without support.

Cardio Kick (**)(***) – this class features a combination of cardio and kickboxing focused exercises for a fun high energy workout.

Crunch & Flex (**) - a combination of Flexibility training and core stabilization exercises.

Body Burn (**) (***) - Is a blend of cardio and resistance training.

Zumba Latin & Soca (**) (***) – all the elements you love from Zumba latin & Soca style.

Tone Up (***) - This fan favorite format incorporates a combination of kickboxing and weight training for a full body work out.

 

Spinning (**): An indoor cycling workout that using body positions and resistance to simulate a ride outdoors.

 

Pilates (**)(***) – A low impact class that includes a mix of standing and mat Pilates exercises which emphasizes strengthening the abdominals, back, gluteal and surrounding muscles.

 

Aging fit- This fun, full-body workout keeps you on your toes by combining cardio and strength training exercises while using a variety of equipment. The format of this class will change from week to week (All levels)

Circuit Station(**)(***)- This fun, interval based workout keeps you on your toes by combining cardio and strength training exercises spread out among different training stations while using a variety of equipment.

Balance & Beyond(*) – This class features a mix of focused and dynamic balance exercises and techniques to help keep you safe on your feet! This format will challenge and build your mobility, strength, and balance. (All Levels)

 

Yoga Flow(**)- This class combines Traditional Yoga poses timed with breath movement to create flowing movement balance, mobility, flexibility, and strength. Additional props may used to support this practice.

 

Chair Yoga(**)- This class combines offers traditional Yoga poses at slower pace with the support of a chair to promote balance, mobility, flexibility, and strength. Additional props may used to support this practice.

 

 

Pool/Water Class descriptions

Power Pyramids- This exciting new format features the Foam Star Aqua Equipment to enhance an array of interval training exercises. A great class for a total body workout.

 

Deep H20 Cardio/Strength- This class offers two options for an effective workout. You can choose to be in the deep water and use the buoyancy belt or stay in the shallow end. Whatever you choose be prepared for a fun, full body workout!

 

Aqua Resistance (*): Focusing on full Body Strength and endurance using the water for resistance while still managing low impact exercises

 

 

Aqua mix (**) - This format incorporates a combination of different aqua style of Tabata to make shore you work all body parts. Tue

 

H20 Cardio/Strength(**) - This class offers two options for an effective workout. You can choose to be in the deep water and use the buoyancy belt or stay in the shallow end. Whatever you choose be prepared for a fun, full body workout!

 

Aqua In Motion (*) - A moderate water workout to improve strength, endurance and flexibility.

 

Noodle & Weights (*) - Synchronized aqua resistance exercises while using a noodle.

 

Aqua Yoga (*) - All the benefits and poses we love from yoga in the comfort of the pool. This class incorporates the use of a pool noodle to improve buoyancy and flexibility in each pose.

 

Aqua Circuit- (**) (***) - This class delivers an effective workout designed to strengthen and tone the body as well as improve the range of motion and flexibility throughout the body using the water. This class will include the use of different exercise Aqua props and tools.

 

Aqua Tone Up(***)- That’s right Ichell’s Trademark format is back in the water! This fan favorite land format incorporates a combination of kickboxing and weight training aqua style!

 

Aqua Burn & Balance (**)(***) – Cardiovascular Training exercises mixed with Balance Training exercises for an effective yet gentle Aqua workout.

 

 

Walking Track

Overlooking the fitness complex, the walking/jogging track is made of Tufflex compound rubber and is designed for maximum results and safety.
